Who we are

FaithHub ("we") is the data controller for personal data collected through FaithHub. Contact us at support@faithhub.app.

What we collect

Account data: email address, and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile name and avatar.
Profile data you enter: display name, favorite verse, church, bio, country.
Activity data: saved verses, reading streaks, prayer entries, and AI chat messages you send.
Payment data: when you make a supporter gift, our payment processor collects your payment details. We only store the transaction id, amount, currency, and status.
Technical data: basic request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

Legal basis (UK/EEA users): we process account, profile, and activity data to perform our contract with you (providing the service); payment records on the basis of legal obligation (tax/accounting) and contract performance; security logs and abuse prevention on the basis of our legitimate interests in keeping the service safe; and any optional product updates only on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

To provide the service (sign-in, sync your bookmarks and profile, generate AI responses).
To process supporter gifts and grant supporter perks.
To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (rate limits, fraud detection).
To communicate about your account and — only if you opt in — occasional product updates.

Who we share it with (subprocessors)

Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
Paddle.com Market Limited — Merchant of Record for payments; receives your payment details directly when you check out.
Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
AI model providers — the content of your AI chat messages is sent to the model provider that generates the response, via our AI gateway. It is not used to train their models under our agreement.

We don't sell your personal data.

Cookies

FaithHub uses only essential cookies and local storage for sign-in sessions and to remember your preferences. No advertising trackers.

Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, bookmarks, streaks, and AI usage records. Payment records may be retained by our processor for legal and tax reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email support@faithhub.app to exercise any of these rights.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.

Changes

We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this notice when we make changes. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
